Kingston Community Football is a social football session for men 18+ that was set up in January 2024 to bring together the community through football. Kingston Voluntary Action partnered with Parkside FC who identified coach Ruben Morais to lead the sessions.

Since January the group has grown in numbers on a weekly basis.

On Sunday 2 June 2024, Kingston Community Football had a friendly game against Parkside reserves at Riverhill Pitch. This was the first time the team had played together competitively on a full sized 11 a side pitch. They showed great passion and enthusiasm, working together as team and never giving up.

"I'm so proud of the boys, of the community!", said Coach Ruben after the group's first game. "This is just the start for us!"

The social sessions will continue to run on a Sunday 1-2:30pm at Fairfield Recreation Ground, Kingston for those who do not want the competitive element, with a session held on Wednesdays that will be more drill and fitness based.
