What happens when a group of strangers come together with an award-winning poet in Kingston to rhyme and dine together over the space of seven weeks?

'The Real Estate Poetry Project - the Celebration' was a culmination of a project that saw our Black African and Caribbean communities come together with other Kingston residents to build a creative community over food and words and test out a new approach to wellbeing, We couldn't be prouder to be part of such a passion-driven project in a borough so close to our hearts.

And now, we couldn't be prouder to introduce you to the video from the night. We hope that you'll enjoy it. Please do help us share it if you feel as inspired by our poets as we are.

Thank you to everyone attending, to all the individuals and organisations involved in delivering the project and ensuring the success of the evening itself, and of course to the participants of the poetry workshops. Without your creativity and courage, there wouldn't have been an event at all. We hope that you will carry the evening with you. We certainly will, and it will inspire us to continue with innovative projects.

A very special thank you to Justin Howard at create4mentalhealth for creating this fantastic film. We are grateful for your hard work and patience throughout.
