Collaboration is increasingly recognised as a key way for charities and community organisations to maximise their impact. To help local organisations build stronger and more effective partnerships, Kingston Voluntary Action is offering a free online training session, Building Successful Partnerships and Collaborations, on Tuesday 3 November 2026, from 10.30-13.00.

This interactive workshop will explore the benefits and potential challenges of partnership working, helping participants understand different types of collaborations and how to create the conditions for success. Attendees will learn how to identify barriers to effective collaboration, strengthen relationships with partner organisations, and manage partnerships that have become stuck.

The session is aimed at people who already have some experience of working in partnerships and would like to reflect on and develop their approach. Participants will leave with practical tips and tools that they can apply within their own organisations and collaborative projects.

The training will be delivered by Claudia Demuth, an experienced coach and fundraising trainer who has spent more than 20 years supporting charities, social enterprises and partnerships to develop effective strategies and secure funding.
