On 14 January, KVA's Community Health Officer, Kathy Wong, teamed up with Julie Yau, Clinical Nurse Specialist from the SWL St George’s Hospital Breast Screening Team, and Adelaide from Kingston Council Public Health to deliver an engaging and informative session on breast cancer awareness at the MAS Hong Konger Café at Kingston Library.

 

Around 30 participants attended, learning about key warning signs, how to perform a breast self-check, NHS breast screening eligibility, and lifestyle changes to reduce risk. Feedback was fantastic – the session was informative, interactive, and well-received.
