All of us at KVA were deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the sudden passing of our colleague of many years, Ann Macfarlane OBE, one of the Patrons of Kingston Centre for Independent Living.

We will remember Ann as an unrelenting fighter for the rights of disabled people, a great advocate for independent living and an active Kingston resident who never let her disabilities stop her from living a full life.

Our condolences to everyone at KCIL and all those closest to Ann. She will be greatly missed.
