The Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Health and Wellbeing Alliance (HW Alliance) is a partnership between sector representatives and the health and care system.
Local VCSE infrastructure organisations estimate that there are more than 5,500 voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations in South West London (Croydon, Merton, Sutton, Kingston, Richmond and Wandsworth), of which half are registered charities. They are key partners of the NHS, especially when it comes to prevention and tackling the cause of health inequalities.
The VCSE Alliance wants to champion and represent such diverse sector and be:
- a link between local voluntary and community sector organisations and the NHS South West London Integrated Care System (ICS).
- a strategic partner to the NHS that supports the transformation of health and care services for local people
