Run by Superhighways, the quarterly Digital Inclusion Network brings together VCSE organisations who either provide some kind of digital inclusion support to their community, or are concerned that their communities are digitally excluded.
A typical agenda will include:
- a local group sharing work they are doing to address the digital divide
- resource sharing e.g. basic digital skills online learning opportunities
- updates on the UK Digital Inclusion Hubs Network including how to access the National Databank to distribute sim cards to those experiencing data poverty
- funding opportunities
- guest speakers from our statutory partners
The Network feeds into Digital Inclusion activity within the local authority and health partners in order to co-ordinate and collaborate to reduce digital inequalities in the borough.
