The law firm Russell-Cooke partnered with Kingston Voluntary Action to provide a free telephone helpline for Kingston Voluntary Action members.

The helpline allows members to have a short telephone conversation with a legal professional on issues relating to running a charity, such as:

• Governance
• Contracting and collaboration
• Fundraising
• Mergers
• Employment / HR
• Data Protection
• Safeguarding
• Leases and Property
• Legal Structures and charitable status

The Helpline is generally open to take calls between 9.30 am and 5 pm on all weekdays, except Bank holidays.

The duration of each call to the Helpline is limited to 15 minutes. The telephone number to call is 0203 826 7534.

When you are calling you should say that you are a member of Kingston Voluntary Action.
