What the Grant Can Be Used For?

Upskilling existing staff through apprenticeship courses

Access training in health and social care roles, including:
- Mental health and emotional support
- Services for older or frail people
- Support for people with disabilities or carers
- Other health and social care services
What Is the Age Requirement for Applicants?
- No upper age limit: Apprenticeships are open to individuals of any age.
- Minimum age: Applicants must be 16 years or older..
- Apprenticeships can be used to develop staff in their current roles, not just for new hires.

Sign up here -
Set Up Your Employer Apprenticeship Account
- Go through the GOV.UK portal to register your organisation:
- Add PAYE details and organisation name.
- Sign an agreement with the Department for Education (DfE) to receive funding.

Enroll Staff
- Staff must have an employment contract for the full duration of the apprenticeship.
- They must dedicate 20% of their contracted hours to off-the-job training.

Set Up Your Employer Account
- Go to GOV.UK One Login, if you haven't done so.
- Create an account and log in to the Find an Apprenticeship Service portal.
- Search for Training Providers and Courses.
Use keywords like:
