Foodbank

Who's it for?

Referral needed from Citizen's Advice, housing support officers, children's centres, health visitors, social services and some local charities. Everyone who comes to the foodbanks for emergency food needs to have a valid foodbank voucher.

What's on offer?

Anyone can reach crisis point. They are there to help when that happens. The Impact Centre foodbank gives three days’ of nutritionally-balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred in a crisis. When you arrive, they’ll welcome you with a warm drink, and trained volunteers will chat with you about your situation and any dietary needs you may have. They’ll also help to support you in any other ways that they can. Most of our foodbank centres offer a café-style environment and our aim is to provide non-judgemental support at the point of crisis.
