Small Charity Week: Breaking Point Report - What's Next?

Tuesday 23 June 2026
12:00 to 13:00

Facilitated by Amber Shotton, Non Exec Director, Fair Collective and Jo Brown Deputy Director of Research, IVAR

Breaking Point Report - What's Next? An opportunity for small charity leaders to come together to discuss the changing landscape and share positive actions taken to support leadership and team wellbeing.

Join us for a one-hour follow-up webinar exploring what has changed since the publication of Breaking Point: The Mental Health Crisis in Small Organisation Leadership—and what that change has meant for you. When the report was released in 2025, it highlighted the intense pressures facing small charity leaders and sparked important sector-wide conversations. Since then, there has been growing recognition that the challenges identified cannot be addressed by individual leaders alone and instead require a more collective response.

In this session, we want to hear directly from small charity leaders, while also sharing insights from conversations with organisations including AoC, ACEVO, IVAR and NAVCA. It will offer a space for small charity leaders to reflect on the past year, share practical insights and tips, and learn from one another. Whether you have followed the research from the outset or are joining the conversation more recently, this webinar provides an opportunity to reconnect around this important issue, hear how thinking and dialogue are evolving, and explore what collective action may be needed next to create healthier, more sustainable conditions for small charity leadership.conditions for small charity leadership.

You will come away with:

· A reminder of the Report’s findings

· An opportunity to share your thoughts, ideas as well as network

· New updates on the topic
