These sessions will introduce our new change makers partnership and provide further information to help you understand more about it, explore whether it’s right for you, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Both sessions will cover the same content, so you only need to sign up for one. 

It starts with community
 
At The National Lottery Community Fund, supporting communities to take control of the issues that affect them is one of our key ambitions.  We firmly believe communities have the skills and knowledge to identify and respond to the challenges they face. But we know this doesn’t just happen by chance – it requires long-term investment in the systems and the people that make community-led change possible. This is where our change makers partnership comes in.   

Through our new change makers partnership we’re investing £50 million in community leadership. Over the next 5 years, we want to work with up to 12 partner organisations, to: 

• change the way community leaders are supported to succeed in England  
• develop and build strong support systems that meet community leaders’ needs 
• ensure community leaders have what they need to develop, to feel supported, reach their full potential and to thrive in their communities
