‘Public Speaking for Organisational Storytelling’

In-Person Workshop in Central London - 20 spaces available

For many of us, speaking in front of others can feel daunting. Yet being able to speak clearly and confidently about your organisation, your work, and your purpose can make a real difference, helping you connect with others, raise awareness, and bring your story to life.

This workshop is especially suited to those who may not speak frequently, or who want to feel more confident and comfortable when presenting or sharing ideas. Whether you’re new to public speaking or simply looking to strengthen your voice and approach, you’ll be supported to develop your skills at your own pace in a safe, encouraging environment.

Led by Ian Dyson, a senior leader with extensive experience speaking at conferences, stakeholder events, and leadership forums, the session focuses on practical techniques to help you communicate your message with clarity, confidence, and authenticity, and to feel more at ease when speaking in front of others.

Through interactive, practical exercises, you will:

  • Learn techniques to structure your messages for clarity and impact
  • Gain confidence in speaking, at a pace that suits you
  • Explore approaches and exercises in a safe, encouraging setting
  • Take away practical tools and mindset shifts to communicate more effectively

Public speaking didn’t come naturally to Ian. Through practice, experimentation, and a focus on clear communication, he developed techniques that helped him speak with confidence and impact. In this workshop, Ian shares those tools and approaches, giving participants space to test, practise, and gradually improve their own delivery.

Note, you don’t need to prepare anything in advance as the workshop includes exercises and examples to help you develop your messaging. If you like, you can bring along a short pitch, presentation, or idea to work on, but this is entirely optional.
