The aim of this forum is to enhance engagement with the voluntary and faith sector and encompass a "Talk, Share, and Learn" space.

 

During this session delegates can expect the following:

• Hear updates from SPA about the referral process and building confidence in communicating with families. Learn how to approach referrals with transparency and the appropriate use of consent.
• There will be a dedicated space to ask questions, network, share insights, and learn from one another.
• Hear updates from the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) regarding managing allegations against staff and volunteers working with children.
• Gain insights into PREVENT and radicalisation, including key updates, safeguarding approaches, and best practices for early intervention.

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

- Explain the SPA referral process
- Reflected on practice
- Identify misconceptions
- Gain opportunity to network with other professionals
