As part of Small Charity Week 2025, Roots HR are offering a popular and highly effective FREE Essential HR for Small Charities webinar.

What is it?

By the end of the session, you will have an awareness of the main requirements of employment law and an understanding of likely future changes within the Employment Rights Bill (ERB). You will also receive guidance and signposting for further support on how to manage typical situations that arise during the course of employment. 

Including: 

• Managing performance
• Time off, including sickness
• Flexible working
• Changing terms and conditions

The focus of this session is individuals employed by your organisation, it will not deal volunteers, contractors etc. 

Who’s it for?

This course is ideally suited for managers and/or leaders, or those with HR responsibilities, within a small charities (under 50 employees). It’s also a great opportunity for those of you who are just about to start employing people.

The session will be delivered by Alison Smith, CEO and Lead HR Consultant of Roots HR CIC.

The webinar will be 1 hour in duration, including time for Q&A.
