The South West London VCSE Alliance is pleased to announce the SWL NHS Winter Engagement Fund is now open for applications and voluntary and community organisations in the six South West London boroughs are invited to apply. The deadline is 30 September 2024 and information sessions, to find out more and ask questions, will be running:

• Tuesday 10 September 2024, 3pm to 3.30pm (click here to join)
• Tuesday 17 September 2024, 10.30am to 11.00am (click here to join or register)

Up to £500 funding is available to support local community and voluntary organisations to run activities, talk to communities about winter health and wellbeing and collect their experiences about their health and care. It will help to improve community awareness by talking to people about:

• How to access urgent care - pharmacies and 111 when it isn’t an emergency
• Vaccinations and childhood immunisations specifically in areas of low-uptake
• The benefits of the NHS app and how to download and use it to access key services more easily. ​
