Join us for this introductory interactive session where we’ll explore how AI can help your small charity improve efficiencies, enhance communications and support fundraising efforts. Whether you’ve already taken your first steps with AI or are only just dipping your toes into the AI waters, this session will focus on giving you a greater understanding of the opportunities for your small charity or community group, along with key considerations to ensure you use AI in an informed and safe way.
We’ll cover:
- An introduction to AI including the different types of AI tools available
- Demos and hands on exercises covering practical use cases from analysing data, automating processes and generating text and image content
- Considerations for its use within your organisation from privacy concerns to cybersecurity and misinformation
- Developing an AI policy for your organistion
At the end of the session, you should:
- Have a greater understanding of the opportunities and risks when using AI
- Have identified specific AI tools that could help your small charity work smarter
- Have the confidence to start using relevant AI tools

Kate White
Kate White has managed Superhighways for over 20 years and has extensive experience in supporting small charities and community organisations to be more efficient and effective using digital technology for social impact.

Sorrel Parsons is our Digital Adviser & Training Manager at Superhighways and has over 15 years experience in supporting charities, community organisations and volunteers in the UK to communicate with the people that matter to them, demonstrate their impact and raise funds.
