Trainer:
Jane Berg - Director Skills, Knowledge and Research – Princess Alice Hospice.
Jane is a nurse by background and has worked predominantly in the community first as a District Nurse, then a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She moved into education working at Bangor University as a Lecturer before taking up her role at Princess Alice. She leads a team of 11 people who deliver training both within the hospice and to external learners. They have recently completed a cross organisational review of mandatory training.
Princess Alice Hospice is a complex organisation with clinical care for patients and families at the heart of what we do. This session will use the experience of the mandatory training review carried out by the hospice to support other charities who want to be sure they are providing cost effective and appropriate training to support their workforce to deliver services in a safe and effective way.
This is an online session: A Zoom meeting invitation will be sent to you prior to the event.
