Voluntary Sector Forum

The VCSE Sector Forum provides a space for VCSE organisations in the borough who offer activities or services to people in Kingston to raise and discuss issues that impact on the sector with statutory partners.

Our Voluntary Sector Forum on 27 October 2021 was attended by 34 participants. The agenda is outlined below.

VCSE Strategy – where next?

Louise Footner (Asst Director Culture, Communities & Engagement) and Sarah Ireland (Exec Director Corporate & Communities) presented on plans to refresh the 2014 VCSE Strategy, and how we can all take this forward together. This included consideration of the future of commissioning to the VCSE sector before and after March 2023. Download Louise's slides here.

NHS Integrated Care Systems

Nigel Evason (SWL NHS) recapped on how the NHS is changing the way it works, and how the VCSE sector can be involved and influence developments. Download Nigel's slides here.

Afghan Refugee Crisis
