KVA and partners launch Food for All project funded by HM Government in partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund

We are delighted to announce the launch of Kingston VCS partnership project ‘Food for All’. As a lead organisation, Kingston Voluntary Action is looking forward to working with:

  • Voices of Hope
  • Milaap Multicultural Day Centre
  • Save the World Club
  • Cambridge Road Estates Community Group (CREst) and
  • Independent Yemen Group

Partners will deliver activities specifically aimed to support local communities affected by food insecurity through the Covid-19 crisis.

Ever since KVA published the Food For Thought – Food insecurity in 21st century Kingston report in 2018, it has been our aim to develop a consistent, coordinated, strategic co-production approach to food insecurity in our borough that links to new and existing local initiatives.

Funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, will help us to realise this goal. We would like to thank the Government for making this possible.

Food for Thought - Food insecurity in 21st century Kingston was produced by Kingston Voluntary Action and Public Health in October 2018.
