Health and Wellbeing Network
Kingston Voluntary Action launches Health and Wellbeing Network - 3rd November 2015
For some time the focus of the Community Development Network here in Kingston has been on on Health and Wellbeing. There are plans around Transforming Primary Care in the borough and earlier this year we heard from our local Community Pharmacists about the part they play in supporting health and wellbeing.
In recognition of this shift - KVA have taken the decision to relaunch the Community Development Network (CDN) as the Health and Wellbeing Network.
Why Health and Wellbeing?
An individuals' wellbeing impacts every part of our lives whether it's through the creative arts, through technology, through sport as well as through work, volunteering and through the strength of our personal and professional relationships.
At KVA we support the work around greater integration across all services areas and support communities to achieve wellbeing, both physical and mental and aim to reflect this through the recently launched Health and Wellbeing Network.
