Kingston Voluntary Action is delighted to announce that we will be distributing £95,000 on behalf of the National Lottery Community Fund to local organisations supporting Kingston residents who are most disproportionally affected by Covid-19.

We are looking for people to sit on the Grants Panel and help us choose the most relevant projects.
If you want to give something back while learning more about the Covid-related needs of local communities and how voluntary and community sector is responding to them, we would really like to hear from you.

We are looking for local people who represent Kingston's diverse community to bring to the Panel their knowledge and lived experience of Kingston, and in particular the last year in its history. You would be required to be available to spend approximately 5 hours, which would be in the first and last week of March 2021, sitting on the panel.

Skills required: Excellent analytical and communication skills. Knowledge or experience of living and/or working in Kingston and lived experience of the BAMER, LGBTQ+, disability or carer community would be an advantage.
The role is unremunerated but expenses, including childcare can be negotiated.

Please email your CV and a half page statement expressing your interest in grant giving to the Borough’s charities and voluntary sector by 5 February 2021 to miranda.jaggers@kva.org.uk.
